Hello, I am Alexsandra. Born and raised in Reykjavik, I am half Icelandic and half Bulgarian. I fell in love with the Maldives, thanks to my mom, who is working as a tour guide and travels around the world.

The first time I visited the Maldives, it felt like a home away from home—a place where time stood still and worries melted away. The islands were unlike anything I had ever seen, with water shimmering in all shades of blue and turquoise, and beaches so white they seemed unreal. But what truly captured my heart were the experiences and the people I met. I made friends, tried new things, and learned much about life and myself. Exploring the Maldives on a budget showed me that luxury doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag, but simply the magic of being there.

My time on the local islands opened my eyes to the beauty of life in its simplest form. It taught me to appreciate the little things, to embrace new experiences, and to cherish the connections we make along the way.
